The Management

JulesJules Sherred – General Manager and Programming Director

Location: Duncan, British Columbia, Canada

Genre: Alternative, Rock, Indie, Pop, Dance, Electronic and more

Confirmed to be a “Geek God” by some online quiz, Jules Sherred is a parent, author, radio personality, blogger and freelance writer, gamer, tech enthusiast, website designer, science nerd, sci-fi and fantasy freak, hard core Trekker, has an unnatural obsession with Optimus Prime and so much more.

In early 2008, Jules was hired by Party 934 as their Program Director. When the station finally hit the airwaves in September 2008, that is when Jules began to host the Geeky Pleasures Radio Show. Once a week for 2 hours, Jules played a wide variety of music including many geeky songs and discussed with listeners some geek topic of the week. In 2009, Jules also took on the additional duties of Assistant General Manager of the station and launched the Geeky Pleasures website when the radio show and blog could no longer adequately fill the demand he was receiving to share what has been called “Jules’ unique brand of geekiness”. After helping to create and build another radio station in 2010, Jules decided it was time to move on and enable a specific vision to become a reality. With a passion for music, entertaining the world and helping others to realise their same dreams, Jules launched The Look 24/7 in 2011, where the Geeky Pleasures Radio Show, plus more, continue to live. Jules has had some pretty well-known geeks sit across from the mic during the Geeky Pleasures Radio Show, including interviews with: Wil Wheaton, Jonathan Coulton, Phil Plait, Sylvester McCoy, Richard Hatch, Paul Darrow, Paul and Storm, R.A. Salvatore, John Kovalic, John Scalzi, and so many more.

Other places you can find Jules online are: circle Geeky Pleasures on Google+, personal blog, personal Google+, @GeekyJules, and The United Federation of Planets.

The Personalities

More coming soon!

Joe ‘Covenant’ Lamb

Location: Dundee, Scotland, UK

Genre: Rock, Pop, Indie, Eclectic

Born in Dundee, Scotland, too many years ago than are healthy, Joe has been involved in more creative things than can be held by the internet and is looking to start the Information Superjoeway to hold his genius. Joe is the closest thing to a renaissance man his mind can handle.

He is an actor, writer, musician, director, singer, broadcaster, monkey trainer, guitarist, film-maker… and has achieved a stunning level of mediocrity in ALL of these things! He is also sometimes terribly self-deprecating… this is not one of those times.

There are many places you can find him online: check out his solo Bandcamp page, his YouTube account, the Bandcamp page for his music duo ‘Duality‘ and follow him on Twitter @JoeCovenant.

You can listen to Joe’s shows Saturdays 1 pm PT/4 pm ET to 5 pm PT/8 pm ET

The B4 Alternative

Location: Milford, Massachusetts, USA

Genre: Sports, Rock and Pointless Rambling

The B4 Alternative started back in 2005, just as a one man deal with a small college radio station. Eric “B4” Belseth is the original creator of the show and is still the main host. It started as a late night show that played mostly grunge rock and classic tunes, but soon evolved into a radio show that played music that wasn’t heard on the radio all that often. From there, around late 2008, the addition of Tom “Detinata”  Nappi brought sarcastic banter to a whole new level.  Andrew “Candyman” Forget would soon follow, and a whole new level of intensity was soon born!

From May of 2009 until early August of 2011, The B4 Alternative show spent time on internet and FM radio in New York. Looking for a change, the group has finally arrived at The Look to take the internet radio world by storm! If it’s vicious, they’ll play it, because they are “Vicious Music For Vicious People”.

You can visit their MySpace here, visit their YouTube here, ‘Like’ them on Facebook here and follow them on Twitter @b4alternative

You can listen to The B4 Alternative’s Sports Blast, Thursdays 5 pm PT/8 pm ET to 7 pm PT/9 pm ET by visiting masportsweb.com
